Welcome to Qkart – to sell or buy locally and globally!
Qkart is a marketplace that brings thousands of private buyers and sellers across India together. Registered shopkeepers or Sellers can offer products to registered Users of the application. We launch in Haryana first, with categories ranging from electronics and fashion to medicines.
Qkart is registered at Rajvir Motors, By Pass Road Shimla, HP (171001) as Qkart Retail Private Limited.
Qkart operates the website qkart.in and mobile apps for Android and iOS. These platforms and the services they provide are collectively referred to as “Qkart” or “Qkart Services”.
General Terms
By accessing and placing an order with Qkart, you agree to the terms of service outlined here. These terms apply to the entire website and any communication between you (User/Sellers) and Qkart.
Under no circumstances shall the Qkart team be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profit, arising from use or inability to use materials on this site. If your use results in servicing, repair, or correction of equipment or data, you assume those costs.
Qkart will not be responsible for any outcome that may occur during usage of our resources. We reserve the right to change prices and revise the resources usage policy at any time.
License
Qkart grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the website/app strictly in accordance with this Agreement.
These Terms & Conditions are a contract between you and Qkart Retail Private Limited (“Qkart”, “us”, “we”, or “our”), the provider of the Qkart website and services.
By using the Qkart Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Qkart Service. “You” refers to both you as an individual and the entity you represent. If you violate these Terms & Conditions, we may cancel or block your account without notice.
Definitions & Key Terms
To clarify terms in this document, the following definitions apply:
- Cookie: A small amount of data generated by a website and saved by your browser to identify your browser, provide analytics, and remember preferences.
- Company: Qkart Retail (Rajvir Motors, By Pass Road Shimla, HP 171001), responsible for your information under these Terms & Conditions.
- Country: India, where Qkart and its owners/founders are based.
- Device: Any internet-connected device (phone, tablet, computer) used to visit Qkart and use its services.
- Service: The service provided by Qkart as described in these terms and on this platform.
- Third-party service: Advertisers, contest sponsors, promotional and marketing partners, and others whose products or services may interest you.
- You: A person, seller, shopkeeper, or entity registered with Qkart to use the Services.
- Delivery: Qkart aims to deliver six days a week (except holidays) within a maximum of 3 hours between 10 AM and 6 PM in your local city. Delivery time may lengthen due to factors such as weather, traffic, failed attempts, or other unforeseen issues.
Offered Services
- As a registered user and seller, you can buy and sell goods and services (“products”), provided this does not break any laws, violate good morals, or our Prohibited Items list.
- Qkart’s basic service is free. Premium features (e.g., Premium sellers, Premium Membership) are subject to additional charges, displayed prior to purchase and inclusive of applicable taxes. Prices may change over time, and premium offerings can vary across Android, iOS, and web. If prices increase, users may terminate their subscription before the increment.
- Once a user confirms a purchase, they agree that Qkart delivers the service immediately.
- Qkart’s role is limited to managing the application and associated marketing, facilitating payment collections, fulfillment, order management, enquiry management, and related services to enable transactions between Sellers and Users.
- Qkart may suspend or remove a user or seller without reason. Creating another account under a different name/email after being blocked is prohibited.
- The Agreement between User and Qkart is effective on the date the application is downloaded, the website is accessed, and/or the terms are updated, creating a legally binding arrangement between the User and Qkart.
Eligibility, Registration & Account Deletion
- Registration is free. You must be over 18 to use Qkart. Users under 18 may use Qkart Services under parental/guardian supervision.
- Users must enter a valid phone number when registering. By registering, you consent to be contacted by Qkart via calls, SMS, instant messages, or similar for subscription, service, or promotional updates. You may opt out through provided means or by writing to Qkart support.
- Commercial use is forbidden unless Qkart grants individual approval (e.g., premium customers).
- You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential. If a third party accesses your login, you must change them.
- By registering, you agree to receive the Qkart newsletter. You can unsubscribe anytime in your profile or via the unsubscribe link.
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
- If you have an account on the platform, you are solely responsible for all activities under that account and for ensuring all transactions are for bona fide sale or consumption in your business activities.
- Users can delete their account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Withdrawal & Termination
- The cancellation policy applies to consumers who have purchased premium Qkart features.
- Right to cancel premium features: you may cancel according to applicable consumer protection laws and the terms presented at purchase.
